The next day John again was standing with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he exclaimed, ‘Look, here is the Lamb of God!’ The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. When Jesus turned and saw them following, he said to them, ‘What are you looking for?’ They said to him, ‘Rabbi’ John 1:35-38a

What is it that you are looking for? What does it have to do with Jesus? What does Jesus have to do with the opportunities and discontents of locked-down Melbourne life?

We use a lot of Ignatian stuff here in Cafechurch - like a lot of people from the Evangelical world we love the importance of Scripture and the taking of personal responsibility - and I thought it might be interesting to use St Ignatius of Loyola's story as a jumping off point.
