About Us
Northcote Uniting Church is a hub for a number of communities, all seeking to drink deep from the wellsprings of faith. We are a place for people of faith, people with hard questions, people on a spiritual quest.
The congregation was re-founded by an independent church named Cafechurch. You can read a little about it here.
We think you can have a serious, engaged Christian faith, and also be an inhabitant of post-modern, post-Christian Melbourne. We gather around Jesus, and welcome people of all sexual orientation and gender identity. We are a part of the Uniting Church in Australia.

She loves journeying with the people who see her for monthly spiritual companioning, giving the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (a kind of pathway for prayer and faith development), and offering retreats. Alongside her role at Northcote UCA, Anne is the Program Director at WellSpring Centre, one of Australia’s leading spiritual companioning formation programs. Anne has been a member of the Australian Ecumenical Council for Spiritual Direction since 2018.
