"Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give alms. Make purses for yourselves that do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Be dressed for action and have your lamps lit..." Luke 12:32-35

This is a pretty hard text to live out. But perhaps a way to think about it is what Ignatian spirituality refers to as "indifference." A few days after St Ignatius of Loyola's festival, it's a good opportunity to revisit the idea, and how it more broadly fits into a life where we rightly order our desires, and hence how we live.
