I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing, but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father. John 15:15
The idea that God might desire our friendship can seem too good to be true. Yet we are all called into the community of God’s friends, working together to bring about a more just and harmonious world.
How do you respond to God’s offer of friendship? What might this look like in your life?
Come as you are to a weekend of gentle, creative prayer exercises, with plenty of space for personal prayer, reflection and rest.
The retreat will be facilitated by Northcote UCA’s Missional Spirituality Pastor, Anne Pate, alongside Terry Fanning and Jacinta Bright, all experienced retreat-givers and spiritual directors in the Ignatian tradition.
