Christianity is surprisingly physical. When you read the Scriptures, there is a lot about bodies, not all that much about ideas. So, for Ash Tuesday (yes, I know it should be Ash Wednesday but otherwise it won’t happen) we are going to think about things like fasting, eating sacred meals, annointing, and daubing ourselves with ashes.
We eat together at 7pm - bring your own dinner, or buy something from one of the many takeaway options on the street - and the “serious bit” begins at 8. We’re done by 9:15
