Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai, saying, ‘Go at once to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before me.’ But Jonah set out to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. Jonah 1:1-2
We love the story of Jonah here. This week at Caravan we are going to bathe in it together. Who is Jonah for us today? Who is this God who seems so preoccupied with working out a project of love and forgiveness?
Caravan is a contemplative Eucharist (aka communion). Music, prayer, contemplation, silence, communion. No matter if we are full or peace or chaotic, joyous or in despair, God can meet with us.
We eat together at 7pm and then have the spiritual bit from 8.
