Contemplative Spirituality
What is contemplative practice?
Contemplative practice involves finding times of stillness in a quiet space to connect deeply with our minds, bodies and spirits, nature and the other. Contemplative practices invite us in to a deeper relationship with ourselves and God.
Contemplative practices also have been known to reduce stress, lessen anxiety, create feelings of wellbeing, and deepen relaxation. Northcote Uniting Church - Chalice is offering a 3 week course in contemplative practices.
This course covers a variety of different contemplative practices which may include sitting meditation, walking the labyrinth, art making and meditation, and movement meditation.
No experience necessary.
